Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen On Friday said she was withdrawing some controversial lines from her autobiographical novel Dwikhandita as those evoked strong protests from “a section of people in India”. “I am withdrawing controversial lines in Dwikhandita, written in 2002 with the memory of Bangladesh in the 1980s when military threw out secularism in the country. The body of unidentified young woman was found from Hotel Ashirwad in Lakkar Bazar this afternoon.The victim had checked into the hotel on November 16 with a man who entered his name as Manoj Kumar from Guwahati as husbad and wife.The hotel employees called the police after they found that the room in which they were staying was locked from inside and there was no response despite persistent knocking.
